Midwest - Much of the Midwest will be dry with the exceptions across parts of Michigan where snow showers will fall and over eastern Ohio where rain and snow showers will be mixed.

Northeast - Low pressure moving through the Great Lakes and a developing storm around the East Coast will team up to produce a messy and windy Friday across much of the Northeast. Rainfall may approach an inch over parts of New England, with isolated areas seeing over 2 inches. It will become cold enough for snow in some higher elevations of western New York, western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

West - A storm system over the Northwest will send some energy eastward across the northern tier of states and more significant energy down the West Coast toward Mexico. Showers and mountain snow will extend from parts of northern and western Montana to Oregon and northern and central California on Friday. By late Friday, snow levels lower, ranging from 2000 feet in the Washington Cascades to 4000 feet in northern California. The rest of the region will be dry.

South - Most of the South will have dry conditions on Friday, except for some snow showers in the southern Appalachians. Meanwhile, Oklahoma and north Texas will be milder on Friday.
