CONTINENTAL AIRLINES, INC. FLY UNITED TO THE EMMYS SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

The Continental Airlines Fly United to the Emmys Sweepstakes (the "Contest") is intended for play and participation in the United States only and shall be construed and evaluated according to the laws of the State of New York and the United States. See below for additional eligibility requirements.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY, BUYING WILL NOT HELP YOU WIN. Your chances of winning without making a purchase are the same as the chances of someone who purchases something.

1. THE CONTEST:

   These official rules (the "Official Rules") shall govern the Contest. The Contest begins at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on August 15, 2011 and ends on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the "Contest Period"). The Contest is sponsored and administered by United Air Lines, Inc., 233 S. Wacker Drive, Chiccago, Illinois 60606 ("United"). Twitter is not affiliated with the Contest.

2. TO ENTER:

   To enter, you must have a Twitter account and an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or mobile phone provider prior to the date the contest is run.

   Twitter:

   To enter the Contest, follow @united on Twitter. Each day, @united will tweet an Emmy’s trivia question to its Twitter followers. Each Twitter followers who answers the question correctly and uses @united and #flyunitedtoemmys will be entered in random drawing to held after the Contest period ends. Followers will be allowed only one (1) entry per day and retweets are not allowed as entries. If you post updates to or receive updates from Twitter via SMS from your wireless phone, your wireless service provider may charge you for each text message you send and receive. Please consult your wireless service provider for more information. All terms and conditions of Twitter.com apply. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same Twitter account. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different Twitter accounts, identities, registrations, or logins, or through any other methods, may void all of that entrant’s entries and that entrant may be disqualified. The use of any automated system to enter the Contest is prohibited and may result in disqualification.

   United is not responsible for late, incomplete, void, corrupted, misdirected, or otherwise erroneous entries or for any problems, malfunctions or technical difficulties that arise in the entry process. Any incomplete or incorrect entries will be void.

3. DRAWING:

   Of the eligible entries, a random drawing will be held on or about Noon ET on November 30, 2010 to declare a winner.

   Another random drawing from among all other entries will be held to determine the winner if the original winner: (i) fails to respond timely to the notification or cannot be reached; (ii) fails to execute the release required by Section 6 of these Official Rules; (iii) does not comply with any other rule or condition of the Contest; or (iv) cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason.

   The decisions of United, including the selection of winners, are final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Limit one (1) Prize per person, family or household.

   Odds of winning depend on the number of correctly submitted entries.

4. PRIZES:

   Four (4) prizes will be awarded. Such prize shall include two (2) United Airlines Domestic Economy cabin class vouchers valid from winners U.S. home city to Los Angeles, Calif. Prize includes Continental mainline flights or its subsidiaries United mainline flights or its subsidiaries, Continental Express or Continental Connection flights. Prize does not include interline or codeshare flights. Two (2) night stay at hotel of United’s choosing. Two (2) bleacher tickets to the [Emmy’s Red Carpet Event]. Additional rules and security clearance are required by the Emmy’s. Security clearance, flights and hotel must be confirmed no later than Aug. 26.

   The prize may not be substituted, transferred or redeemed for cash except at the sole discretion of United. In case of prize unavailability, United reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

   Prize Value: The total approximate retail value of the Prize is: $5,000

   All applicable taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winners.

5. ELIGIBILITY:

   The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdicition of residence, whichever is older. Employees of United, Continental and its respective subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising/promotional agencies involved with this promotion, including the immediate families and household members of such employees are not eligible to enter or win.

6. RELEASE:

   By entering entrant agrees to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify United and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, contractors, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize awarded in the Contest, including but not limited to any claims for damage to property, personal injury, death or claims based on defamation, rights of privacy, rights of publicity or merchandise delivery.

   United shall not be liable to winner or any person claiming through winner for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal) labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, game cancellation, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond the sole control of either of United.

   United is not responsible for any printing or typographical errors in these Official Rules or any other materials associated with the Contest. Entrants enter at their own risk and United is not responsible for and shall not be liable for any condition caused by events beyond their control that may cause the Contest to be disrupted.

   Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for United to use the winner’s name, Twitter user account name, photograph or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion of the event or otherwise without further compensation, except where prohibited.

7. GENERAL:

   United reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to amend, change, cancel or suspend the Contest and randomly award the prize from among eligible entries received at the time of such action, should a virus, bugs, malicious tampering or other causes beyond the control of Twitter corrupt the administration of proper execution of the Contest.

   United reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify anyone found or suspected to be: 1) tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, or 2) acting in violation of these Official Rules.

   United reserves the right to amend or change the Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion. Amendments will be posted on United’s Twitter feed. By entering the Contest after any amendment of the Official Rules, the entrant consents to be bound by such amendment or amendments.

8. WINNER LIST:

   Names of the winners will be posted to United’s Twitter Feed and on united.com/tweettowin.

9. DATA COLLECTION:

   United may collect personal data about participants when they enter the Contest. Please review United’s privacy policy statement at http://www.united.com/page/article/0,6867,1002,00.html. By participating in the Contest, entrants hereby agree to all of the terms and conditions of the privacy statement of the United.

10. CHOICE OF LAW:

    Under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys’ fees, other than entrant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Contest), and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of contestants and United in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of New York, without regard to New York’s choice of law rules.
