New Fare For Infants

Applies to Infants without a seat traveling between the US and Mexico and the Caribbean.

Effective Tuesday, March 18th Continental will begin charging 10% of the applicable fare (including fuel surcharge) for infants without a seat traveling between the US and Mexico and the Caribbean. This will apply to any infant bookings created on or after March 18, 2008 for travel on Continental, Continental Micronesia, Continental Express, and Continental Connection. This fare will be automatically applied when pricing the infant with the adult. The fee for the infant will be noted in the fare rule for the adult.

Travel agencies should make sure that the infant name is properly input in their GDS PNR. For questions on inputting infant names in the PNR, please contact your GDS.
