Now you can book both United^® and Continental^® flights, check flight and upgrade status, view your MileagePlus^® or OnePass^® account information, check in and receive a mobile boarding document and more directly from your mobile device. Available for iPhone, iPod and Android devices the new United app lets you take care of your travel needs anytime.

App FAQs

Will I be able to access my mobile boarding pass?

Mobile boarding passes are stored on your device for 24 hours so you can access them even when you don't have an Internet connection. If you're connected, the boarding pass will update automatically with the latest gate information or any seat changes.

Will I be able to access my reservations?

Any reservations booked directly in the app will automatically be stored in this section. You can also import reservations using the More button, followed by the View Reservation button. Then, enter your confirmation number and last name and you'll have the option to save your upcoming travel plans to the Reservations section.

Reservations will be updated with a "check-in" link when your flight is eligible for check-in.

What are flight status notifications and what does successfully subscribing to flight status notifications mean?

Flight status notifications are updates that are sent to your mobile device when there is connectivity regardless if you are in the app or not. From Flight Status you can subscribe to a flight and have updated information about that flight automatically pushed to your phone. Just click on the Notify Me For Flight Updates button on the flight details page.

Mobile Boarding Pass

Choose to have your boarding document sent directly to your mobile device via e-mail for qualifying itineraries. No printing is necessary. Once you receive your boarding document, simply scan the barcode on the screen at airport security checkpoints and at the gate during boarding. If a seat change, upgrade or change in departure gate occurs, your boarding document can be refreshed to display the new information.

Mobile Check-in

Mobile check-in is available for Continental and United flights worldwide. Enter mobile.united.com using your mobile device’s Internet browser and make sure to bookmark the site for future use. Check in from your mobile device starting 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure. The latest possible time for check-in, baggage check and boarding may vary based on your departure airport and destination. Learn more about our check-in and boarding requirements

Voice Check-in

If you don't have access to the Internet or a mobile device, you can quickly and easily check in for your Continental flight over the phone. Customers traveling domestically with less than 10 people in their party are eligible for voice check-in.

With voice check-in, you can select the bags you want to check, hear your bag fee and arrange for your boarding passes to be delivered by e-mail, fax, or airport kiosk. Also available is baggage policy information, full flight details and more.

Call 800.523.FARE (800.523.3273) and say "check in" during the automated menu or reconfirmation phone call to use this feature. After verification, you'll be checked in for your flight.

Flight Timetables

Continental posts updated flight schedules weekly. To ensure you have the most recent information, bookmark this page and download the latest timetable on a weekly basis. OnePass members can register to receive a monthly e-mail reminder when Continental Airlines Timetable updates are available.

Download a PDF version of the Continental Airlines system timetable. You may download co.pdf (approximately 1.2 MB) in your browser for printing or use while connected to the Internet. Be sure to save co.pdf to your computer or handheld device.

TripAlert is a service for OnePass members that will automatically notify you every time you travel if your flight is on time, delayed or canceled, as well as when you can check in and obtain your boarding passes.

Flight Status Notification

Flight Status Notification is an e-mail service that allows you to be notified on an hourly basis of your flight's departure/arrival time. Set up alerts to be delivered to your phone's e-mail address each time for your flight or another traveler.
