Gulfstream International Airlines (www.gulfstreamair.com) was founded in 1988 by Thomas L. Cooper, a former captain for Eastern Airlines. In January 2000, Continental purchased an equity interest in Gulfstream International Airlines. Gulfstream has purchased Continental's fleet of Beechcraft 1900Ds, rebranding them with the Continental Connection livery and utilizing the aircraft to improve traffic flows from Continental to Gulfstream.
Gulfstream International Airlines offers Continental Connection service to popular cities throughout Florida, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. In Florida, Gulfstream International Airlines offers service to the following destinations: Daytona Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Ft. Myers, Key West, Melbourne, Miami, Orlando, Sarasota/ Bradenton, Tampa, and West Palm Beach. In the Bahamas, Gulfstream International Airlines flies to Treasure Cay, Marsh Harbour, North Eleuthera, Freeport, and Nassau.

Services
Gulfstream International Airlines offers high frequency service on most of the routes it serves. Customers connecting with Continental will receive boarding passes and luggage check-in to their final destination.
