Emirates Airline (www.emirates.com) is the international airline of the United Arab Emirates, based in Dubai. It is among the world’s most profitable airlines and among the 20 largest. The airline operates to 88 destinations in over 60 countries worldwide and has announced it will launch services to Newcastle, Venice, Sao Paolo and Houston in 2007. Since its launch in 1985, Emirates Airline has won more than 300 international awards for customer service.
Continental codeshares on Emirates Airline flights between Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and London which connect with Continental's flights between London and both New York/Newark and Houston.

Airport Lounge Benefits
BusinessFirst customers have access to Emirates Airline’s Business Class Lounge in Dubai as well as the Emirates Lounge in London Gatwick’s North Terminal.
Services
Emirates Airline operates a fleet of modern Airbus A330-200s, A340-300, A340-500, and Boeing 777-200s and 777-300s. Its order for 45 Airbus A380s, which it will start receiving in 2008, makes it the largest customer of the super-jumbo.
As an innovator in the airline industry, Emirates Airline became the first airline to provide a personal video system in every seat in all classes of service. Every aircraft is also equipped with inflight telephone and fax services. Professional, friendly, multi-lingual cabin crew members encompass over 100 nationalities.
In London Gatwick, Continental's operations are located in the South Terminal, while Emirates Airline is located in the North Terminal. There is a terminal train that connects the two terminals. The train travel time is approximately two minutes.
