KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (www.klm.com) began passenger service in 1919. Today, headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands, it is the fourth largest airline in Europe and operates extensive international and regional European service from its hub at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. KLM has several affiliates, including KLM cityhopper (KLC) which operates under the KLM code.
Continental and KLM have formed an extensive alliance relationship that offers connecting codeshare service via KLM's hub in Amsterdam to cities throughout Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. KLM is also a member of the SkyTeam Alliance.

Airport Lounge Benefits
Continental's Presidents Club members have access to the KLM Crown Lounges in Amsterdam, Netherlands and Johannesburg, South Africa. Members can access these Clubs by showing a current Presidents Club membership card as well as a ticket for same-day international travel, or connecting travel, on a SkyTeam partner airline.
Continental's First/International Business/BusinessFirst customers traveling on an international itinerary have access to any SkyTeam partner airline's lounge at any point during their itinerary on the same day of travel.
SkyTeam Elite Plus members traveling in Economy class on an international itinerary operated by a SkyTeam member have access to any SkyTeam carrier's lounge (including one guest) at any point during their itinerary on the same day of travel.
Services
KLM offers both Business Class and Economy on intra-Europe codeshare flights, as well as World Business Class and Economy Class on international flights. World Business Class provides generous personal space, including expanded legroom and enhanced seat recline. An adjustable leg rest complements the seat recline. Customers are offered menus developed by world-renowned chefs. These special menus are complemented by a selection of some of the world's most unique wines and exceptional champagnes. Digital telephones are available on select aircraft, along with a wide variety of magazines and newspapers.
KLM's fleet includes the Boeing 737-300/400/800/900, 747-400, 767-300ER, 777-200 , MD-11 and the Airbus 330-200. KLM cityhopper operates a fleet of Fokker 50/70/100 series jet and turboprop aircraft.
