The alliance with Virgin Atlantic Airways provides a better transatlantic service to customers of both airlines. Customers can fly between London, England (LHR) and Boston, New York, NY (JFK), Los Angeles, Miami, New York/Newark, NJ (EWR), San Francisco and Washington D.C. Service from London, England (LGW) is offered to Orlando.
Continental provides codeshare service to Virgin Atlantic customers between New York/Newark, NJ (EWR) and London, England (LGW).

Airport Lounge Benefits
Continental codeshare customers traveling on Virgin Atlantic's Upper Class may enjoy the Upper Class and Clubhouse lounges in the U.S. and U.K. on the day of travel. The Clubhouse at London, England (LHR) offers services such as complimentary massages, haircuts, shoeshines, and facials. Other features include a soundproof Sony Music Room, a virtual downhill ski race, a putting green, a library, a full service bar and an observatory with an outstanding view of the airport.

Services
Continental customers can select from Upper Class Suites or Economy Class when travelling on codeshare flights operated by Virgin Atlantic.
Upper Class customers can relax in sleeper seats which are 79.5 inches (202cm) long and up to 33 inches (84cm) wide across the shoulder. All suites have aisle access and a seat that converts over into a bed with a fully contoured mattress for sleeping on. The Suite comes with an ottoman which doubles as a seat for a guest so you can dine together. Full Freedom service menus are on all flights so you can eat when you want to. Enjoy a state-of-the-art personal entertainment system featuring a personal seatback TV offering entertainment, from the latest blockbuster movies to the hottest TV shows and up to 14 audio channels.
