Continental Airlines Opens New Presidents Club at DFW International Airport

DALLAS, July 21, 1998 -- To further enhance service to business travelers in the Metroplex, Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAI.A and CAI.B) today opened a new Presidents Club at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

The 3,500 square-foot clubroom, located in Terminal 2W between gates 9 and 10, features a business service area with a copier and fax machine, seven private workstations equipped with AT&T credit card telephones and dataports for computer hookups, and a conference room.

"We recognize how much business travelers value a place where they can work while on the road in a comfortable, relaxed environment," said Richard Metzner, vice president Marketing Programs for Continental Airlines. "Increasing numbers of business travelers are choosing Continental for the improved service we offer on our flights, and now we can expand our appeal with the pre-flight and post-flight benefits offered by the Presidents Club."

Continental Airlines operates 12 daily departures to Houston, five to Newark and two to Cleveland from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

In total, Continental will open six new Presidents Clubs this summer, including one in the main terminal at Washington National Airport, opening next month, and the first Latin American clubroom in Mexico City, opening near the end of the summer.

Continental Airlines maintains 18 clubrooms and gives members access to over 45 affiliated lounges worldwide. Annual memberships start as low as$200.
