Continental Express Signs Five-Year Contract with Pilots Union
HOUSTON, December 14, 1998 -- Continental Express, a wholly owned regional airline subsidiary of Continental Airlines, today announced that it has signed a new five-year labor contract with the Independent Association of Continental Pilots.
The contract is effective immediately and will improve the pay and working conditions of the approximately 1,200 Continental Express pilots. The new labor contract becomes amendable October 2002.
Continental Express provides seamless connecting service to more than five million Continental Airlines customers annually and approximately 900 daily departures to more than 80 cities including the Houston, Newark and Cleveland hubs.
