Continental Airlines to Start Seasonal Service on Three Routes Via Its Houston Hub
HOUSTON, Texas, September 6, 1999 -- Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL and CAL.A) today said it will inaugurate seasonal service on three new routes from its hub at Houston/Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Daily nonstop flights will operate during the upcoming 1999-2000 winter season from Houston to Sarasota, Fla., and Palm Springs, Calif. These flights are effective from Dec. 16 through April 30.
A daily nonstop flight will operate during the 2000 summer season from Houston to Anchorage, Alaska. This flight is effective from June 10 through Sept. 6. Continental will fly the Boeing 757 aircraft on this route.
At its Houston hub, Continental provides 522 daily departures with nonstop service to 130 cities.
