Continental Express President Accepts Position with Budget Group, Inc.
HOUSTON, October 26, 1999 -- Continental Express, the regional airline subsidiary of Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL and CAL.A), today announced that its president, David Siegel, will be leaving for a position as president and chief operating officer of Budget Group, Inc. effective Nov. 15.
"David has been a highly valued member of our team. We will miss having him at Continental," said Continental Airlines Chairman and CEO Gordon Bethune. "We wish him the very best in his new position."
A successor to Siegel will be named shortly.
