Continental Express Increases Service Between Lubbock and Houston

LUBBOCK, Texas, October 29, 1999 -- Continental Express, the regional airline subsidiary of Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL and CAL.A), today announced increased service from Lubbock International Airport to its hub at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, effective Jan. 6, 2000.

The additional service to Houston provides passengers with access to the hub’s 500 daily departures to 132 cities, including service to Latin America.

An additional Continental Express flight will bring the total number of daily nonstops from five to six. The new flight will depart Lubbock at 1:30 p.m. and will arrive in Houston at 3 p.m. The return flight leaves Houston at 11:40 a.m. and arrives in Lubbock at 1:05 p.m.
