Continental Express Increases Service Between Amarillo and Houston

AMARILLO, Texas, October 29, 1999 -- Continental Express, the regional airline subsidiary of Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL and CAL.A), today announced increased service from Amarillo International Airport to its hub at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, effective Jan. 6, 2000.

The new flight provides convenient connections to 132 cities via Continental’s Houston hub, including Latin America and Europe.

An additional Continental Express flight will bring the total number of daily nonstops from three to four. Using the Embraer ERJ-145, known as the ExpressJet, the new flight will depart Amarillo at 7:30 p.m. and will arrive in Houston at 9 p.m. The return flight leaves Houston at 5:25 p.m. and arrives in Amarillo at 7 p.m.
