Continental Express Announces New Service Between Madison and Cleveland
MADISON, Wis., November 2, 1999 -- Continental Express, the regional airline subsidiary of Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL and CAL.A), today announced new service from Dane City Regional Airport in Madison to its hub at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, effective April 2, 2000.
The addition of these flights increases Continental Airlines/Continental Express departures from Wisconsin by 18 percent. Continental already serves Milwaukee from its three hubs, Houston, Cleveland and Newark.
The new service to Cleveland provides passengers with convenient connections to cities in the East, including Newark/New York and Boston.
Using the Embraer ERJ-145, Continental Express will offer two daily flights, departing from Madison at 10:45 a.m. and 6:10 p.m. with arrivals in Cleveland at 1:20 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The departures from Cleveland will be at 9:10 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. with arrivals in Madison at 9:50 a.m. and 5:40 p.m.
