Continental Express Announces New Service Between Abilene and Houston

ABILENE, Texas, November 3, 1999 -- Continental Express, the regional airline subsidiary of Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL and CAL.A), today announced new service from Abilene Regional Airport to its hub at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, effective Feb. 10, 2000.

"We are happy to bring this new service to Abilene," said Continental Express Regional Director John Mullen. "With over 500 daily flights from our hub in Houston, Continental is able to offer its customers the world."

Continental Express will offer three daily flights, departing from Abilene at 7:15 a.m., 11:05 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. with arrivals in Houston at 8:45a.m., 12:35 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. The departures from Houston will be at 9:20 a.m., 2:25 p.m. and 8:20 p.m. with arrivals in Abilene at 10:45 a.m., 3:50 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.
