New Service Between Knoxville and New York

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., November 30, 1999 -- Continental Express, the regional airline subsidiary of Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL and CAL.A), will begin daily non-stop service from Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport to New York, effective Dec. 1.

The new service to Newark International Airport provides passengers with convenient connections to cities in the Northeast and in Europe.

Using the new 50-seat Embraer 145 regional jet, Continental Express will offer two daily non-stops between its hub in Newark and Knoxville. The flights from Knoxville will depart at 6:45 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. with arrivals in Newark at 8:40 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. The return flights from Newark will depart at 11:50 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. with arrivals in Knoxville at 1:50 p.m. and 7:40 p.m.

Continental Express already serves Knoxville from its hubs in Houston and Cleveland with two daily flights to both locations.
