Continental Airlines Announces New Service to Three Destinations in Mexico from New York
HOUSTON, May 30, 2000 -- Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL and CAL.A) today announced new seasonal, Saturday-only service to Los Cabos, Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta from its hub at Newark International Airport, effective Dec. 16, 2000, to April 28, 2001, subject to government approval.
Los Cabos, located on the Baja Penisula by the Pacific Ocean, is a popular resort destination for sport fishing, boating and golfing. Puerto Vallarta and Acapulco, also on the Pacific Ocean coast, are popular vacation destinations, known for their extensive beaches and night life.
Continental will operate a Boeing 737-700 aircraft, equipped with 12 first class and 112 coach seats, on all three routes.

Continental, the No. 1 U.S. airline to Mexico and the No. 2 U.S. airline to Latin America and the Caribbean, serves 19 destinations in Mexico from its Houston hub. With the addition of these three cities, Continental will serve six destinations in Mexico from its New York hub.
