Continental Airlines and CommutAir Begin Code-Share Flights in Eastern U.S.

HOUSTON, June 15, 2000 -- Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL and CAL.A) and CommutAir today announced the signing of a comprehensive alliance agreement that includes codesharing and frequent flyer participation. Over the course of the next six months, Continental will implement codesharing on more than 250 daily CommutAir flights to 20 destinations throughout the eastern United States.

Operating as a Continental Connection carrier, with a fleet of new Beech 1900D aircraft, CommutAir will provide high frequency service from key business markets in the Northeast, including: Boston, Mass.; Hartford, Conn.; and Syracuse, Albany and Rochester, N.Y. Members of Continental’s OnePass program will earn 500 miles on each flight segment operated by CommutAir.

Continental will place its code on CommutAir's flights to the following cities:

Elmira, N.Y. Saranac Lake, N.Y.
Greensboro, N.C. Syracuse, N.Y.
Hartford, Conn. White Plains, N.Y.
