Continental Airlines Cancels Tuesday's Flights Between Puerto Rico and St. Maarten and the U.S. Due to Hurricane Debby
HOUSTON, Aug. 22, 2000 -- Due to Hurricane Debbie, a storm in the Caribbean region, Continental Airlines will cancel all flights serving Puerto Rico and St. Maarten on Tuesday, Aug. 22.
Continental's weather action plan calls for the airline to resume normal operations on Wednesday, Aug. 23 to those locations.
Travelers booked on Continental flights departing from the New York/Newark, Houston or Cleveland airports should contact the airline to reconfirm their flight plans. The toll-free number to speak to a reservation agent is 1-800-523-3273. Automated flight information is available at 1-800-784-4444.
