Continental Express Announces Service Between Daytona Beach, Florida and Cleveland

Continental Express to offer the only non-stop service to Cleveland

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Oct. 23, 2000 -- Continental Express, the regional airline subsidiary of Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL and CAL.A), today announced new weekend service between Daytona Beach, Fla., and its hub in Cleveland.

Using the 50-passenger Embraer ERJ-145 regional jet, also known as the ExpressJet, Continental Express will offer one flight on Saturday and Sunday between Daytona Beach and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

The weekend flight will depart Daytona Beach at 4:25 p.m. and will arrive in Cleveland at 6:44 p.m. The flight from Cleveland will depart at 12:20 p.m. and will arrive in Daytona Beach 2:58 p.m.
