Continental Airlines Announces Postponement of Detroit Trial Until Nov. 16
HOUSTON, Nov. 13, 2000 -- Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL and CAL.A) today announced that the recommencement of the federal antitrust trial involving it and Northwest Airlines in Detroit has been postponed until Thursday, Nov. 16.
Continental and Northwest continue in negotiations towards definitive agreements in connection with an agreement in principle between the carriers announced Nov. 6.
Continental does not anticipate making any further comment regarding the negotiations until definitive documents have been executed or the litigation resumes.
