 Continental Airlines is once again the official airline of the March of Dimes 2008 National Ambassador Program and a national sponsor of the March of Dimes March for Babies, formerly called WalkAmerica.
The March of Dimes National Ambassador, Catharine Aboulhouda, will travel throughout the U.S. to share her story with millions of Americans, attend hundreds of meetings, special events, conferences and fundraising activities to personalize the organization's mission to improve the health of babies. As the official airline, Continental will proudly fly Catharine and her family to these events.
March for Babies takes place each year, usually during the last weekend in April, in about 1,100 communities throughout the United States. The money raised by this event supports March of Dimes programs of research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies. Last year, more than 4,000 Continental Airlines employees around the U.S. participated in WalkAmerica, and we'd like to extend an invitation to our customers to join us for this year's March for Babies. The walks in our Houston, Cleveland and New York hubs will all occur on Sunday, April 27, 2008.
