In response to recent recurring increases in crude oil prices, Continental Airlines will resume the assessment of fuel surcharges. We regret the need of imposing this burden on our customers and we ask for your support and cooperation as we strive to maintain the quality of service you have come to expect from Continental Airlines.
The fuel surcharges for tickets issued starting October 1, 2009 have been approved by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

| Conditions for revision/elimination of surcharges |
When the most recent three-month average of Singapore kerosene price falls below prices listed in the following table, fuel surcharges will be revised for tickets issued during the period as indicated below:
For tickets issued between April and June the average price of Singapore Kerosene (Nov. to Jan.) reading was taken on Feb. 1, 2009.
For tickets issued between July and Sept. the average price of Singapore Kerosene (Feb. to April) reading will be taken on May 1, 2009.
For tickets issued between Oct. and Dec. the average price of Singapore Kerosene (May to July) reading will be taken on Aug. 1, 2009.
For tickets issued between Jan. and March, 2010 the average price of Singapore Kerosene (Aug. to Oct.) reading will be taken on Nov. 1, 2009.

| Terms of application | Fuel surcharges are applied in the same amount for adults, children and infants with seats. Fuel surcharges are not applied for infants without seats. |

Customers with tickets issued before October 1, 2009 may view detailed information of the fuel surcharges during that time frame.
- Central and South America destinations are as follows: Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.
- Fuel surcharges will also be applied to unscheduled and charter flights.
- Surcharges listed above are subject to change after a minimum notification period.
- Fuel surcharges for Japan – Central/South American flights, other Micronesia/Asia flights, Nandi, and for Japan – Cairns flights are not subject to conditions for revision/elimination listed above.
