Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)

Arriving Passengers

All Continental and Continental Express international customers will use the International Arrivals Building (IAH) for processing through Customs and Border Protection.

Customers concluding their trip in Houston can be met at the spacious arrivals hall at Terminal E or are steps away from convenient ground transport options, including the Houston METRO service that will take you non-stop into downtown.

Customers making connections beyond Houston may claim their checked baggage, proceed through customs and immigration, and recheck baggage for connecting flights.

Departing Passengers

Customers traveling to international destinations on Continental or Continental Express will be required to check-in for their international flights at Terminal E where Continental is expanding its convenient electronic self-service options.

International departures from Terminal E are just steps away from the check-in lobby. For international departures that depart from Terminal C or Terminal B, the TerminaLink automated people mover quickly transfers passengers to the appropriate terminal.

Airport Location

George Bush Intercontinental Airport is located 20 miles North of downtown Houston at at 2800 North Terminal Road, Houston, TX 77032. The airport is midway between Hwy. 59 & I-45.

Global Entry™ Passenger Customs Information

Global Entry™ -enrolled travelers may bypass the regular passport control line and proceed directly to the Global Entry™ kiosk located at the end of the inspection hall closest to the baggage claim/Customs inspection escalators. At the kiosk, the Global Entry™ traveler will activate the system by inserting his or her passport or U.S. permanent resident card into the document reader. Once the process is successfully completed, the traveler will be issued a transaction receipt which must be presented to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer as the participant leaves the CBP inspection area.
