Re: Denied Boarding, Cancellation and Delay
Below is Continental's notice required by EU Regulation 261 pertaining to compensation and assistance in the event of denied boarding and cancellation or delay of long flights as it applies to passengers on Continental-operated flights departing airports located only within EU Member States.
Please refer to the Contract of Carriage for the general terms and conditions applying to your transportation.

Carriers Banned From Operating in the European Union
The European Commission established a list of air carriers that do not meet their relevant safety standards and are banned from operating in the EU. You may review the list of carriers on the European Commission's Web site.
European Union Rules on the Importation of Products of Animal Origin
Please be advised that bringing meat and dairy products into the European Union is generally prohibited by local law. Restrictions also apply to many other food items and plants. If you have any questions about this restriction, please contact a customs official upon arrival. Failure to declare food, dairy, and plant items may result in delays, fines, or prosecution by the customs authority in the EU.
