Moslem Meals are available for those customers who practice the Moslem religion. These meals may not contain any products derived from pigs, such as pork, ham and bacon. Alcohol is forbidden during preparation and should never be offered to the customer. Poultry, lamb and beef which is acceptable must be slaughtered according to specific Halal methods. Special rules also apply during the month of Ramadan when Moslems fast from dawn to sunset.
Examples of items that are usually allowed on a Moslem diet are:
- Fresh fruits and vegetables
- Fresh fish
- Halal processed beef, lamb and poultry
- Yogurt
- Nuts
- Rice
- Corn
- Pasta
- Eggs
- Herbs and spices
- Cheese and dairy products
- Dried beans and peas.
Examples of items that are usually prohibited on a Moslem diet are:
- Pork
- Sausages
- Alcohol
- Eel
- Animal fats.
