Vegan (Strict) Vegetarian Meals, VGML

Vegan (Strict) Vegetarian Meals are available for those customers who exclude all foods derived from animals (including meat, poultry, fish, shellfish, honey, eggs, and dairy products) or their by-products from their diets). The Vegan Vegetarian has the same Recommended Daily Allowances as an average individual. A vegetarian can get enough protein from his or her diet, as long as a variety of foods are eaten in the amounts that are adequate. Since meat, fish, and poultry are major contributors of iron, zinc, and B vitamins in most diets, vegetarians should pay close attention to make sure that they consume enough of these nutrients.
