Flying for over 60 years, today Alitalia (www.alitalia.com) operates over 721 daily flights to 63 international and 25 Italian destinations from its hubs in Rome and Milan.
Continental and Alitalia codeshare on select routes. Across Europe, as well as the Mid and Far East, Alitalia offers Continental customers expanded access to a unique network of cities. Alitalia is currently a member of the SkyTeam Alliance.
Frequent Flyer Benefits
Continental Airlines OnePass members may accrue and redeem miles on Alitalia flights system-wide. Fare class bonuses of 50% will be earned for travel in Business Class. Miles and points accrued on qualifying fares and Alitalia flights count toward Elite status.

Airport Lounge Benefits
Continental's First/Business/BusinessFirst customers on international routes have access, on the same day of travel, to any SkyTeam carrier's lounge. In addition, SkyTeam Elite Plus members traveling on a same day international itinerary in Economy Class on Continental or any SkyTeam carrier, have access to any SkyTeam carrier's lounge (including one guest). Alitalia offers business travelers first class service in its Magnifica Class, featuring unique Italian-designed, roomy seats and the finest Italian wines and foods, selected and prepared by award-winning chefs and served on fine, white china. Traveling on the Boeing 777, passengers will enjoy personal flat screens (individual 9 inches video) with movies, music, and games controlled by an audio-video on demand system, leather-upholstered seats, multi-adjustable head and footrests, back support and seat memory. Finishing off the Magnifica experience is an open bar and espresso coffee machines. Satellite telephones are available on every seat.
In the Economy class seats, satellite telephones and personal screens (6.5 inches in-seat video) with movies, music, and games controlled by an audio-video on demand system, are available for all customers. Passengers will also enjoy various award-winning Italian dishes, giving customers a true taste of Italy. In all classes of service, special meals (i.e. vegetarian, etc.) are available with 24-hour advance request.
