Continental's Human Rights Policy Statement reflects the company's commitment to conduct its business in a manner consistent with these principles and to protect human rights within the company's sphere of influence. Ethical Business Conduct
This Human Rights Policy Statement reflects the company's broader commitment to ethical business practices, which is embodied in Continental's Ethics and Compliance Guidelines. These guidelines serve as the cornerstone of the company's ethics and compliance program, requiring Continental's Board of Directors, officers and employees to conduct the company's business fairly, honestly and in compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, including those protecting human rights. The company has appropriate mechanisms in place to monitor compliance with these guidelines and facilitate reporting of possible violations.
