Contract of Carriage

Transportation of Passengers and Baggage on flights operated by Continental Airlines, Inc. ("Continental"), Continental Micronesia, Inc., Carriers doing business as Continental Express or Continental Connection, and other carriers operating as Continental's Codeshare partner, are subject to the terms and conditions set forth in Continental's Contract of Carriage, in addition to any terms and conditions printed on or in any ticket, ticket jacket or eticket receipt, or specified on any internet site, or in published schedules. By purchasing a ticket or accepting transportation, the passenger agrees to be bound thereby.

For Codeshare services on flights operated by another carrier, Continental is responsible for the entirety of the Codeshare journey for all obligations to Passengers established in its Contract of Carriage. The rules contained in Continental's Contract of Carriage with respect to ticketing will apply to Continental's Codeshare services on flights operated by another carrier. However, each Codeshare partner has terms and conditions with respect to the operation of its own flights and may differ from those set forth in Continental's Contract of Carriage with respect to flights operated by Continental. Those terms and conditions, which are found in the partner's contract of carriage for that partner's flights, are incorporated into Continental's Contract of Carriage by reference and apply to Codeshare service provided by Continental on a flight operated by that partner, which supersede Continental's rules that would be otherwise applicable. Terms and conditions that may differ between Continental and the partner include, but are not limited to:

  1. check-in time limits;
  2. unaccompanied minors
  3. carriage of animals;
  4. refusal to transport;
  5. oxygen service;
  6. irregular operations;
  7. denied boarding compensation;
  8. baggage acceptance, allowance and liability.
