Starting March 29, 2008, Continental Airlines will launch new twice-daily nonstop flights between London Heathrow (LHR) and its hubs in New York/Newark and Houston. Flights are now available for booking. Continental's flights will operate in Terminal 4, which will be the future base for all SkyTeam carriers operating at the airport. London Heathrow will be the eighth U.K. airport to be served by Continental.
Passengers arriving at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) on Continental flights will be able to connect quickly and easily with flights to destinations throughout the Americas. From New York/Newark, the airline operates more than 400 flights daily to more than 230 destinations, including more than 120 served nonstop. From Houston, Continental operates more than 700 daily services to more than 230 destinations, including more than 170 served nonstop.

Heathrow Location
London Heathrow Airport is near the southern end of the London Borough of Hillingdon, 24 km (15 miles) west of Central London. To the north, Heathrow is surrounded by the built-up areas of Harlington, Harmondsworth, Longford and Cranford, to the east are Hounslow and Hatton, and to the south are East Bedfont and Stanwell. To the west, the M25 motorway separates the airport from Colnbrook in Berkshire.
