Resumen del clima
Actualizado a la(s) 04:12 (hora del centro), mié., 25 nov., 2009
Midwest - Wednesday weather will be damp from the Corn Belt of the Midwest through the Great Lakes region. Rainfall totals may reach one inch from parts of Wisconsin and northern Illinois up through Michigan. Colder air will push down into the northern plains and Upper Midwest as a cold front dips down from Canada. Rain will be changing to snow over parts of North Dakota, South Dakota. Parts of Minnesota and northern Iowa may see from one to three inches of snow. During the evening the rain/snow line moves to the Mississippi River in Minnesota and Iowa.
South - A developing area of low pressure over the Gulf of Mexico will ride eastward across the Florida Peninsula Wednesday resulting in locally heavy showers and thunderstorms. The heaviest rain is expected to fall over the central part of the state. Expect strong thunderstorms over southern Florida. Lighter showers are likely to spread northward along the Southeast coast from Georgia to North Carolina. The rest of the region should be dry, with more sunshine west of the Mississippi River.
Northeast - Coastal areas of the Northeast will be dry on Wednesday but rain showers will move eastward across Upstate New York and Pennsylvania during the day. A few light showers may also reach the Baltimore/Washington area by the end of the day. Rainfall will be on the light side producing little more than a quarter of an inch over the region, but should be heavy enough to wet roadways.
West - Much of the West will see dry conditions and relatively mild temperatures through Thanksgiving Day. The exception will be across western Washington as showers move in on the tail of a Pacific storm.
