South - An area of low pressure moving through the Southeast will bring a chance of rain throughout the Southeast today and tonight. Some locally heavy rain is possible from southern Georgia through the eastern Carolinas. Rain chances will move up the coast tomorrow into Virginia, with rough surf possible along the Virginia Coast as the low moves up the coast.

West - A strong storm system will continue to bring rain, mountain snow, and gusty winds to the Pacific Northwest today. As the system moves inland, snow will spread into the Northern Rockies and portions of the Northern High Plains.

Midwest - A weak frontal boundary nearly stalled out in the Upper Mississippi Valley will be the focus for a few showers today and tonight.

Northeast - A dry and mild day is expected across the Northeast today as high pressure remains over the region.
