The Manufacturing Controlling Trainee Program consists of three program phases, with a duration of up to 24 months in total.
Phase 1– Day-to-day operations
During the first six months, you will get to know the main functions of the Tire Controlling organization and day-to-day operations at one of our tire manufacturing plants at your home location.
Phase 2– Central Stay
During the second phase of the program, you will work in Hanover with Manufacturing Controlling trainees from all over the world, getting to know the tools, systems, organization, and principles of a controller.
Within the six months, you will not only have the opportunity to get to know central functions but also work on defined project tasks and present the results to senior management.
Phase 3– International experience
In the final phase, you will have the chance to deepen your knowledge of controlling based on first-hand operational experience. You will learn on the job in a plant abroad at one of Continental’s many international bases.
The Manufacturing Controlling Trainee Program prepares you for controlling positions in the local plant controlling department. You will be able to take on responsibility at an early stage and gain international working experience. Your future offers:

- An above-average university degree in Business Administration with majors in Economics / International Management / Finance or Controlling
Fluency in English and the language of your home plant (country of employment), another foreign language is welcome
Project experience desired
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, an open-minded and self-driven team player, eager to work in a multicultural environment
Committed and honest, quality-oriented with problem-solving abilities
International mobility and willingness to work abroad
Passion to shape the future of mobility
