The trainee program provided by ContiTech’s business unit Surface Solutions offers a unique work experience all over the world in combination with individual support through mentors and experts. This opportunity is the ideal way to prepare you for a successful career at Surface Solutions.
With its soft trim technologies, Surface Solutions is able to satisfy virtually all requirements of car manufacturers and customers. We produce surface materials for automotive interiors as well as living spaces, coated fabrics and engineered products, using uniform processes and applying high quality standards at all our locations worldwide. We attach high importance to providing our customers with maximum-care service and support.
Within the two and a half year duration of the program, you will get to know the product portfolio of Surface Solutions as well as the processes and structures. Over the course of multiple modules, you will work on several international assignments in up to three different continents, which will enable you to gain valuable multicultural experience while competing for interesting and challenging projects. During the program, you will work in different departments, as well as on projects in close cooperation with the local CEO of the Surface Solutions Group. You will get the chance to prove your knowledge and skills in two global, self-responsible projects, sponsored by the board of Surface Solutions.
Due to your unlimited contract, you will receive a qualified career prospect, for example as Logistics Manager, Manager in Research & Developement or any other technical or commercial department at Surface Solutions, after successfully finishing the program.
What do we expect?

- First-hand industrial experience in internships or thesis writing
- Passion for the automotive industry, technology driven and highly self-motivated
- Excellent command of English for international communication and a willingness to learn German
