Otrokovice VÚK

Otrokovice VÚK came into existence at the start of the 20th century as part of BAŤA, then continued as SVIT. Since 1952, it has been part of the Tanning Research Institute in Zlín, and in 1994 it became part of a.s. TOMA Otrokovice.

The VÚK engineering company was established in 1993. Originally the company’s main activity was the development and production of tanning machines and equipment. Our current activities focus on the creation of design documentation and production of machinery and equipment for various industries, in particular the rubber industry. We manufacture tire machines and are involved in the entire production process from development to assembly and quality assurance.

A big advantage is that our company has its own design department and can take care of the whole production cycle, starting with material cutting, continuing with welding, machining, surface treatment and assembly, and ending with shipping to the customer. Our production process makes use of modern CNC technology. 80 to 90% of our output is exported abroad.

Our employees, technicians and workers are skilled and experienced in the development and production of machinery and equipment for the rubber, leather tanning, chemical, paper, textile and plastic industries.
Continental VÚK became part of the Continental group in 2018, further strengthening Continental's position in Otrokovice.
