InnoTrans 2018
At the InnoTrans 2018 in Berlin, Continental has presented its concepts, ideas and solutions for the rail industry along with technological highlights and product innovations for rail vehicles. The focus has been on increasing digitalization and the consequent potential for greater safety, lower emissions and reduced background noise in goods transport.
“With our technological expertise and our know-how, we have the opportunity to significantly reduce serious and fatal accidents involving rail vehicles. Vehicle surroundings sensors and cameras, lighter components and materials as well as the highest degree of safety are paving the way for the future of rail transport”, declared Hans-Jürgen Duensing, member of the Continental Executive Board, during a media talk.
