Range of Tires

The tire is associated with Continental like almost no other product. Tires for a wide range of applications are still part of our business and set trends around the world. As part of our team in the field of tires, you have the opportunity to contribute to the development of high-quality and high-tech tires.

We offer you the opportunity to work in an international environment and shape the future of tire technology together with us. Whether summer or winter tires, whether in a private or commercial context, our aim is to always deliver the best possible tire quality for all types and to provide our customers with a safe and comfortable driving experience.

In a Class of Their Own

We have been manufacturing tires for more than 150 years: big and small, thick and thin, fast and strong tires. Our tires have been found on racing cars and Tour de France bikes, they have broken speed and range records, are regularly tested as best in their class, and were often the first of their kind. We invented the first-ever patterned tire tread. And the first-ever tubeless tire. And the world’s first driverless car. And the world’s first eco-friendly tire. Not to mention the world’s fastest tire with road approval. That’s a lot of firsts – and we haven’t even started to list them all yet.

Where Tires Are Put through Their Paces

Since 1967, around 2.2 million tires of all kinds have been tested at the Contidrom. The test track is the heart of the test site. This is where we put our tires to the test in order to achieve the proven and coveted Continental quality standard. Of course, this can’t be done all year round – so in order to meet increasing demands, there is a fallback solution for the winter months in Uvalde, Texas. Here, the test tracks of the Contidrom have been recreated in order to ensure the same test conditions. Winter tire tests on snow and ice are carried out at the Continental test site in Arvidsjaur, Sweden. When it comes to the quality of our tires, we leave nothing to chance.

The People behind Our Range of Tires

Every tire involves countless process steps and manual operations. Our employees in production work miracles every day to get the tires rolling out of the factory. For our blue-collar positions, in particular, we are always on the lookout for characters who can take on responsibility and get involved. Do you have what it takes?
