Launch Event: The New ContiSportAttack 5
Track born. Road ready.
After testing Continental’s newest adventure tire TKC 80² in Portugal, the focus soon shifted from gravel trails to high-performance road riding. At the end of March, Continental organized a dedicated riding event for the ContiSportAttack 5, its latest supersport tire. Hosted near Cartagena, Spain, the event brought together 47 international journalists, influencers and B2B partner to experience the tire in real riding conditions. The program focused on high-performance road riding and the racetrack DNA behind the new tire, allowing participants to experience its handling and grip in demanding riding conditions.

Motorcycle tires are products that riders need to experience directly. While the earlier virtual launches helped explain the technology and reach a global audience, the riding events brought the products to life. The track-focused environment in Spain highlighted the performance credentials of the ContiSportAttack 5.
The ContiSportAttack 5 is the latest generation of supersport tires for those who seek maximum driving dynamics without compromise. Developed on the racetrack; perfected for the road – the ContiSportAttack 5 delivers outstanding grip, superior cornering, precise steering response and lightning-fast warm-up. This latest evolution of the supersport tire will be available in the first quarter of 2026.

The new ContiSportAttack 5 combines racetrack DNA with road suitability
The ContiSportAttack 5 combines racetrack performance with everyday usability. Designed for speeds of up to 320 km/h, depending on the tire size, the construction is suitable for road use without restrictions while the compound also performs well on challenging track days.
"We’ve developed a tire that can handle both sunday rides over mountain passes and racetrack training on closed courses – without compromising on performance," emphasized Rafael Kascha, Product Developer of Motorcycle Tires at Continental.
