BMW M3 Refinement from AC Schnitzer Sprints on SportContact 7 from Continental

      • Aachen-based high-tech tuning company AC Schnitzer puts its G80 BMW M3 on SportContact 7 from Continental
      • Tires of sizes 285/30 R 20 at the front and 295/30 R 20 on the drive axle for 610 hp sports coupe

Hanover, Germany, May 3, 2022 – At AC Schnitzer in Aachen, Germany, the most powerful M3s of all time are currently being built. With a power upgrade to a total of 610 hp (449 kW), the sports car, refined according to the motto "Better fast than hard", thus reaches around 300 km/h. With the RS chassis suspension developed in-house for the front axle, high cornering speeds are possible – with good-natured load change reactions and gentle understeer. As a result, the high-tech sports car from the imperial city shines both on the racetrack and in everyday traffic. To bring precisely these requirements – sporty driving on the Nürburgring & Co., restrained power on public roads – perfectly to the asphalt, AC Schnitzer relies on the new SportContact 7 from Continental. The Aachen-based company fits it in size 285/30 R 20 at the front and 295/30 R 20 on the drive axle, each on its own lightweight forged rims.

"It's hard to imagine tuning without sports tires from Continental," reports Michael Schneider, Head of Tuning at Continental. "They deliver perfect grip and precise vehicle control right up to the limits, can easily handle speeds even above 300 km/h, and are matched to the vehicles and their characteristics in collaboration with the tuners." Leading international tuners such as AC Schnitzer, Abt, BRABUS, Klasen, Lorinser, Techart and 9ff are therefore equipping their high-tech sports cars on tires from Continental's SportContact family. The product family also supplies a wide range of tire models for sporty and well-powered passenger cars from the Golf class upwards to high-tech sports cars such as those from AMG, Audi S models, BMW M models, Maserati, Porsche and sporty e-vehicles such as the Tesla S-Type.
