Continental has completed the sale of its ContiTech business area Original Equipment Solutions (OESL) to Regent L.P.
Hanover, February 2, 2026. Continental has completed the sale of its ContiTech business area Original Equipment Solutions (OESL) to Regent L.P.
The sale agreement for OESL to Regent was signed on August 27, 2025, and the transaction was communicated at that time.
The sale is part of the ContiTech group sector’s announced strategy to sharpen its focus on industrial customers.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price and further details.
OESL currently employs around 14,000 people and generated sales of around €1.7 billion in fiscal 2025. The business area develops and produces hose lines and bearing elements for combustion-engine and electric vehicles.
