The BRABUS 900 Sedan Runs Exclusively on Continental Sports Tires

      • Premium tuner equips BRABUS 900 on AMG E63 basis exclusively with Continental high-performance tires
      • 900 hp car to be fitted exclusively with 21-inch SportContact 6 tires

Hanover, Germany, May 10, 2022 – Premium Tuner BRABUS has taken the Mercedes AMG E63 4Matic as the basis for its latest creation and equipped it with 900 hp (662 kW). Driven in this way, the sports sedan sprints from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, and 300 km/h is reached after only 23.9 seconds. This is a maximum stress for the tires, which have to cope with the acceleration and the enormous centrifugal forces. When it comes to the choice of tires, the development engineers from Bottrop, Germany, rely exclusively on the SportContact 6 in the sizes 265/30 ZR 21 at the front and 305/25 ZR 21 at the rear. The high-performance sports tires from Continental are mounted on the Platinum Edition Z forged wheels from BRABUS for this purpose.

"It's hard to imagine tuning without sports tires from Continental," reports Michael Schneider, Head of Tuning at Continental. "They deliver perfect grip and precise vehicle control right up to the limits, can easily handle speeds even above 300 km/h, and are matched to the vehicles and their characteristics in collaboration with the tuners." Leading international tuners such as AC Schnitzer, Abt, BRABUS, Klasen, Lorinser, Techart and 9ff are therefore equipping their high-tech sports cars on tires from Continental's SportContact family. The product family also supplies a wide range of tire models for sporty and well-powered passenger cars from the Golf class upwards to high-tech sports cars such as those from AMG, Audi S models, BMW M models, Maserati, Porsche and sporty e-vehicles such as the Tesla S-Type.
