Continental Appoints New Purchasing and Original Equipment Business Managers for Tires

  • Jana Striezel took charge of global purchasing at Continental Tires on September 1, 2025
  • Dennis Bellmund appointed head of global original equipment business on September 1, 2025

Hanover, Germany, October 7, 2025. Continental’s Tires group sector has appointed two new managers. On September 1, 2025, Jana Striezel assumed responsibility for global purchasing at Continental Tires and Dennis Bellmund became head of the tire manufacturer’s global original equipment business. In their new roles, both report directly to Christian Kötz, member of the Executive Board of Continental AG and head of the Tires group sector.

“We’re delighted to welcome Jana Striezel, a highly skilled manager, to our team. She brings extensive expertise in international procurement and will focus on driving forward our purchasing strategy,” said Christian Kötz. “In Dennis Bellmund, our global original equipment business has gained a highly experienced leader. Thanks to his many years at Continental, he is familiar with our company and our customers’ needs from many different angles. On behalf of the entire management team, I wish both of them every success in their new roles and look forward to working together.”

In her new position, Jana Striezel is responsible for strategic and operational purchasing for Continental Tires worldwide. A trained lawyer, she previously held several management positions in procurement at French automotive manufacturer Renault, including heading purchasing for the Renault brand and the alliance with Nissan and Mitsubishi in Europe. From May 2024 to June 2025, she also served on the supervisory board of Renault Deutschland GmbH. Her career in the automotive industry began in 2014 at Volkswagen, where she held various management positions in corporate procurement and the legal department.

Dennis Bellmund now heads the passenger-car and commercial-vehicle original equipment business for Continental Tires. His predecessor, Manja Greimeier, switched on September 1 to Continental’s ContiTech group sector, where she now heads the Industrial Solutions business area for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. “On behalf of the entire team, I would like to thank Manja Greimeier for her successful leadership of our original equipment business and wish her all the best and continued success,” said Christian Kötz.

Dennis Bellmund has been with Continental for 25 years, holding various management positions in Germany and abroad. Most recently, he was responsible for Continental’s tire retail operations. Previously, he managed supply chain operations in the EMEA region and served as sales director for international customers in the European replacement tire business.
