Continental at TOC Europe 2026: Intelligent Tire Solutions for Efficient Port Operations

Hannover, 2026, May 13. Continental will showcase an integrated portfolio of high-performance tires and digital solutions at this year’s TOC Europe. With its exhibit, the tire supplier underscores its focus on enabling resource-efficient and high-performance port logistics. TOC Europe 2026 will take place from May 19 to 21 at the Hamburg exhibition grounds. Continental will exhibit in Hall B6, Booth B44, inviting visitors to explore solutions designed to enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability in port operations.

With the DockMaster Radial, Continental is presenting a new tire highlight for port operations this year. The tire has been specifically developed for demanding applications such as AGVs, reach stackers, top loaders, heavy forklifts and empty container handlers.

Its design combines durability, efficiency and robustness: a maximized tread volume and large footprint ensure excellent service life, while the radial construction reduces heat generation, especially over longer operating distances. At the same time, its lower rolling resistance compared to bias-ply tires improves energy efficiency.

An innovative rubber compound enhances resistance to abrasion, cuts and cracking, ensuring high durability even under harsh conditions. The concept is complemented by an integrated sensor that enables monitoring of tire temperature and inflation pressure. Thanks to reduced heat buildup and lower wear, the DockMaster Radial is particularly suited for high-intensity applications with long operating distances and demanding ground conditions.

Continental complements its portfolio with a holistic, data-driven tire consulting approach, enabling fleet operators to reduce total cost of ownership and optimize resource utilization.

Based on operational data, Continental’s experts provide recommendations for vehicle deployment, taking into account parameters such as distance, speed, and active operating time per cycle. This helps improve operational workflows, optimize tire usage, and enhance route planning.

In addition, detailed usage analyses enable experts to recommend the most suitable tire for each specific application. This results in greater transparency, fewer premature tire failures, and extended tire service life—delivering measurable efficiency gains for port operators.
