- Consistent expansion for high coverage of the European passenger car fleet: Over 1,000 new wheel bearing kits, chassis, and steering components now available
- Continental quality with proven high reliability and durability: Five-year warranty for workshops and their customers
- The group sector ContiTech will continue to expand its aftermarket portfolio in 2026
Hanover, Germany, October 28, 2025. The Continental group sector ContiTech has implemented the portfolio expansion announced at Automechanika in fall 2024. In line with the announcement, Continental-branded wheel bearing kits and spare parts for chassis and steering systems are now available – well over 1,000 items in total just in 2025 – covering a wide range of vehicles on the European market. ContiTech plans to continue expanding its portfolio steadily in 2026.
The next step towards a one-stop shop
At the beginning of the year, well over a hundred new items in the chassis and steering sector and 27 new hydraulic bushings will be added, with hundreds more spare parts to follow throughout the year. The ContiTech group sector, in which Continental bundles its business with rubber and metal replacement parts for passenger cars, is thus pushing ahead with the strategic expansion of its spare parts portfolio in the automotive aftermarket. Meanwhile, the company offers independent workshops a well-designed range of premium replacement parts from a single source – and is taking the next step toward becoming a one-stop shop. “Today's repair shops need more than just individual spare parts; they need comprehensive solutions that include high-quality products, practical services and the reliability of a global supplier,” says Rolf Sudmann, Head of Aftermarket in ContiTech's Industrial Solutions EMEA business unit. “That's exactly what we offer: a broad range of top-quality products that make daily work easier and strengthen customer trust.”
Broad and deep portfolio: quality from a single source
The expanded range includes relevant replacement parts for the European vehicle fleet, including numerous types for current electric vehicles. The newly introduced components include:
- Steering parts such as axial joints, tie rod ends and dust boots, which are robust, low-maintenance and easy to install
- Wheel bearing kits for over 80 percent of the European vehicle fleet, manufactured from first-rate materials in proven Continental quality and with partially pre-assembled ABS pulse rings and sensors
- Chassis components such as suspension joints, control arm bearings and coupling rods – precisely fitting, corrosion-resistant and vibration-damping
Like all Continental products in the aftermarket segment, the new components are based on Continental's renowned high standards. Registered workshops also benefit from a five-year warranty – a clear signal of quality, reliability and trust in partnership.
This portfolio expansion is the result of intensive market analysis and customer surveys," explains Rolf Sudmann. “The workshops expressed a clear desire to be able to rely on Continental's proven quality for chassis and steering components as well.” To this end, ContiTech's materials experts utilize their decades of expertise in combining rubber and metal from industrial applications. ContiTech also supplies the manufacturing industry and manufacturers of large commercial vehicles with machine mounts and damping systems. The result: durable, easy-to-install components.
Further expansion of product and service portfolio planned
The Continental aftermarket product range also includes a growing number of practical services for workshop professionals: numerous installation instructions and service videos with more than 1,500 tutorials in 16 languages facilitate repairs directly on the vehicle. An expert hotline is available for more complex questions. In addition, specialized toolboxes for chassis and steering simplify installation processes and save valuable time. The services are tailored to everyday workshop requirements and help to avoid errors, reduce complaints and make work processes more efficient.
Furthermore, ContiTech will continue to expand its existing range of drive components with particular emphasis on auxiliary drives, where the repair logic has evolved towards system solutions.
