Porsche Chooses Continental Tires
- Porsche Panamera G3 II fitted with SportContact 7 and new SportContact 7 Force
- For wintry conditions, Porsche recommends WinterContact TS 860 S for Porsche Cayenne E4
Hanover, Germany, September 29, 2026. Continental has received two new approvals to supply original-equipment tires for Porsche models. The automotive manufacturer has approved both the SportContact 7 and the new SportContact 7 Force for the Panamera G3 II. The SportContact 7 Force is a high-performance addition to Continental’s summer tire line. Porsche also recommends the WinterContact TS 860 S for the Cayenne E4 during the colder months. All tires are approved in 21- and 22-inch sizes, with XL markings, indicating increased load capacity.
The SportContact 7 is a summer tire designed for exceptionally responsive, precise handling. Its rubber compound and tread pattern are optimized for excellent grip and short braking distances on both dry and wet roads, providing exceptional driving stability, even at high speeds.
Also approved for the Panamera G3 II is the new SportContact 7 Force, a specially developed version of the SportContact 7 designed to meet even higher demands in terms of performance and stability. Its adaptive tread pattern and enhanced rubber compound enable more precise handling and high levels of power transfer under extreme conditions. The tire combines track-proven performance with everyday usability.
Cayenne E4 equipped with Continental winter tires
For the Cayenne E4, Porsche recommends the WinterContact TS 860 S for the colder months. This winter specialist has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of high-powered, handling-focused SUVs. It delivers short braking distances and precise handling on dry roads, along with strong performance in snow, providing a high degree of control and stability. In addition, its low rolling resistance can help increase the range of electric vehicles.
