Frankfurt am Main, Germany, June 20, 2025. Continental’s Automotive group sector, which is planned to become the independent listed company Aumovio in September, has further expanded its Investor Relations department with the appointment of Lutz Ackermann as head of Investor Relations. Ackermann transitions from Fuchs SE, bringing over a decade of leadership experience in investor relations. Most recently, since the beginning of 2021, he has headed the investor relations team at Fuchs SE, whose preference shares are included in the MDAX index. After obtaining a degree in economics, he began his professional career as a financial advisor with a leading audit firm.

“We are pleased to have gained in Lutz Ackermann, a proven investor relations expert who brings with him extensive experience of the stock markets. By expanding the Investor Relations function, we are strengthening our capital market communication and positioning ourselves for our future as a listed company,” said Philipp von Hirschheydt, Continental Executive Board member and CEO of Aumovio.

Aumovio will offer cutting-edge electronic products and modern mobility solutions. In addition to its strong market position in innovative sensor solutions and displays as well as technologically leading brake and comfort systems, the future independent company will have extensive expertise in software, architecture platforms and assistance systems for the rapidly growing future market of software-defined and autonomous vehicles. The future Aumovio employs more than 92,000 people (as of December 31, 2024) and generated sales of around €19.6 billion in the fiscal year 2024.
