Continental allows its employees to see things from a different perspective even during their training. This is the case, for example, with the Aspect Change project. Trainees at the Continental plant in Northeim spend one week working in welfare and social facilities as part of the project. They help in the retirement and care home, provide assistance in the day care center and lend a hand in the Harz-Weser workshops. The aim of this project is to develop the social skills and sense of responsibility of our trainees. By broadening their horizons, they find out what other professions and areas are like.
During the project week, the trainees are integrated into daily life at the facilities. Going for walks, chatting, playing – all the things the care workers often do not have time to do.
A closing event is held at the end of the project week, giving the trainees the opportunity to share their personal experiences with co-workers, managers and partners from the facilities.
