      Ready for Continental Program at a glance

      “Ready for Continental” is a two-year joint master´s degree program of Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) of the University of Žilina and Continental Corporation in the subject field “Control Engineering.” The main focus is on Industry 4.0 and practical trainings in IT. This program is aimed at highly-motivated students with a background in Control Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Electronics. The master's program is shaped to prepare professionals to take on leadership positions in the IT industry and adjusted to the strong market demand for specialists in IT.

      What can you expect?

      The study program consists of four semesters. It offers specialized academic training focusing on the core topics in the field of power and applied electronics, programming and utilization of computer technology and control engineering. The program includes experience in Industry 4.0, Big Data and Data Analytics in the form of an internship that can be conducted in Germany, at our location in Hanover. In your last semester, you will work on the master thesis, on a topic pertaining to the industry. While the entire program is taught in Slovakian, some lectures are held in English. You will have the possibility to participate in English language courses sponsored by Continental. You will graduate with a full master's degree conferred by the University of Žilina. In addition to the master certificate, you will receive a Continental graduate certificate “Ready for Continental”. After finishing the program, you will have the chance to become the part of Continental family.

      What could your future look like?

      Due to the high demand in the job market for people with computer science and business skills as well as experience in the industry, graduates of the “Ready for Continental” program are sought-after specialists with many career opportunities in Continental.

      After completing the program, you will have the chance to become an IT Specialist in the field of Industry 4.0 and Cloud Technologies. However, you can also choose a more technical career path and start in the field of Big Data or Data Analytics.
