“Ready for Continental” is a two-year joint master´s degree program of Continental together with the faculty of electrical engineering and information technology (FEIT) of the University of Žilina. The main focus is on Industry 4.0 and practical trainings in IT. This program is aimed at highly motivated students with a background in control engineering, information systems, computer science, electrical engineering or electronics. The master's program is shaped to prepare students for attractive specialist positions in the IT industry.
The study program accompanies you along four semesters. It offers specialized academic training focusing on the core topics in the field of power and applied electronics, programming and utilization of computer technology and control engineering. The program includes experience in Industry 4.0, big data and data analytics in the form of an internship or working student contract. There is also the opportunity to work at our headquarter location Hanover (Germany). In your last semester, you have the chance to write your master thesis on a topic pertaining to the industry. Like that we can make sure your research and findings will be relevant and used.
While the entire program is taught in Slovakian, some lectures are held in English. You will have the possibility to participate in English language courses sponsored by Continental. You will graduate with a full master's degree from the University of Žilina. In addition you receive a Continental graduation certificate “Ready for Continental”. After finishing the program, you have a good chance to stay with Continental already knowing the team, the location and the workstyle.
- Bachelor’s degree in control engineering, information systems, computer science, electrical engineering, electronics or similar study programs
